Video of Hamurabi´s code of law
Hamurabis code of law wasn't like the constitution because it was to harsh a lot of people didn't vote. Hamurabi's code of law was written in a stone. If you built a house for someone and the house wasn't she and if the house collapsed and killed its owner the man who built he house would died and if his son die from the same reason the son of the builder would die.
How to make a law
- you need an idea
- you need to make it a bill
- you need to take the bill to the senate and the house of representatives
- you need to debate the bill
- they vote for the bill
- if the majority votes for the bill it becomes a law
